Of the 226 pupils who finished Year 11 at Benton Park School in 2023, 39% stayed on in Benton Park School’s own sixth form (Leeds average 32%), 33% went to a further education college and 7% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 123 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 60% went to university (Leeds 35%, England 37%), and 18% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

Media Studies is unusually popular at GCSE: 28% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were in line with the national picture: Attainment 8 of 45.7 against 46.1 across England and 45.5 in Leeds, with 44% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
