What the data says

Of the 269 pupils who finished Year 11 at President Kennedy School Academy in 2023, 45% stayed on in President Kennedy School Academy’s own sixth form (Coventry average 46%), 36% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 135 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 72% went to university (Coventry 39%, England 37%), and 19% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

GCSE results in 2025 were below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 43.2 against 46.1 across England and 44.0 in Coventry, with 38% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).

Languages are a small part of the curriculum here: entries in Spanish and French and German add up to 16% of the year group, and 19% of pupils entered the full EBacc set of subjects (England 41%).
